Thomas Doyle was a member of the Irish Republican Brotherhood and the 1st Battalion of the Wexford Brigade and saw action in Enniscorthy during Easter Week. He was arrested at the beginning of May 1916 and was interned at Frongoch. He was released in December 1916 and would later take part in the War of Independence.
